Sikh Hospital Makindu

The Guru Nanak Sikh Hospital Makindu was built by the Sikh Temple Makindu as a community hospital and has been under the management of Divinity Foundation since 2015. It provides quality healthcare through its subsidised fee and free clinic program to the community in and within close proximity of Makindu town.
In 2019 the hospital began its expansion which should be completed by the year 2021, taking the small community hospital from a 15 bed facility to a 72 bed teaching and referral hospital serving the community of Makueni County. The hospital provides outpatient as well as inpatient services and runs a 24hr laboratory and pharmacy department. It also provides free dental, eye, maternity, paediatric, diabetic and hypertension care, as well as baby immunisation clinics.
